Debates: Let's hear both sides of the issue.

"Difference of opinion leads to inquiry, and inquiry to truth; and I am sure a lively debate is the best way to elicit truth." - Thomas Jefferson

Debates are being proposed with the executive members of Independence Blue Cross. I have been vocal about this for a long time. They have been very silent. I'd like to debate about the bigger issues in health care, and my example is helpful.

The topics could include:

- The American worker is one insurance company mistake away from poverty.

- The first African American leader of Independence Blue Cross allows discrimination based on disability

- The American Diabetes Association is a fraudulent organization, and maintains inappropriate financial relationships with large insurance companies and medicine manufacturers.

- Using the example of Independence Blue Cross, private health insurance has has put public optics ahead of actual company performance, in form of such things as social media and philanthropy events.

- Independence Blue Cross was involved in a legal attack against at least one customer member.

- The Blue Cross family of companies has opposed efforts to resist the coronavirus.

- Independence Blue Cross DOES NOT meet the definition of health insurance.

- Independence Blue Cross DOES meets the definition of a pyramid scheme.

- The private health insurance industry, exemplified by Independence Blue Cross, is aggressively using social issues such as race and inequality to cover up poor performance and suspicious activity.

- New laws Need to be implemented that will limit the amount of income a private health insurance company can reinvest in self promotion, while requiring them to spend more on actual operations.
